Michelle R. Wildstein, Associate Director


Ms. Wildstein joined the PCAOB staff in August 2005 as Assistant Director. She became Associate Director in April 2008.

Prior to joining the PCAOB, Ms. Wildstein was an associate in the Washington, D.C. law firm of Thompson Hine, where she practiced outbound international trade law, advising both U.S. and non-U.S. clients on the application of U.S. export control and economic sanctions laws and other laws with extraterritorial effect.

During law school, she spent several months with the Office of the General Counsel of the United States Trade Representative assisting attorneys representing the United States in disputes before the World Trade Organization. In addition, Ms. Wildstein spent eight months as an intern with the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Mission to the European Union in Brussels, Belgium, before earning her law degree from The Catholic University of America. Ms. Wildstein earned her B.A. in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University.
